Project Management, Design, and Contract Administration for the installation of new storage tank systems and removal of existing storage tank systems

A partnership between Stragis Environmental Services Inc. and the Tobique First Nation formed the first Canadian Aboriginal environmental joint venture to monitor and manage petroleum fuel tank storage systems on Aboriginal and federal lands in the Atlantic Provinces and Quebec. The objective was to provide a cleaner, healthier environment through a properly regulated petroleum system regime.

Risk Assessments

An Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a report prepared to identify potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities associated with real estate property. Such liabilities may include contamination of soil, ground water and surface water. Stragis conducts Phase 1 ESA’s, including a visual and historic assessment of the land, to determine if there is a possibility that contamination exists on the property. Where the Phase 1 study identifies the potential for contaminants and further investigation is required, Stragis will complete the Phase 2 study to identify the location and type of the contaminants. Where site remediation is necessary Stragis will work with the client to identify options and cost implications. For both Phase II and Phase III ESAs, Stragis is qualified to prepare a Record of Site Condition.
